How to Hard Reset HTC Nexus 9

These are the steps that you should follow to perform a hard reset in your HTC Nexus 9.Perform a hard reset using hardware keys if you want to reset to factory default settings if you can't access setting to manually reset it.

Use Internal Setting

• Go to Menu Setting > Personal > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset
• Choose Reset Tablet
• The HTC NEXUS 9 will do the master reset until it finish

Use Hardware Keys

1.Turn off our HTC Nexus 9

2.Press together Power Button + Volume Down together for several second until the Android Logo lying down appear at LCD and release both button.

3.Press the Volume Down Button two time until Recovery Mode appear at LCD. We will see red triangle at LCD screen..

4.Press and hold Power Button and Volume Up Button together until menu appear.

5.Navigate menu with Volume button to go to Factory Reset, to choose or enter press POWER Button
The HTC NEXUS 9 will do the master reset for several minutes, just wait until it finish.

6.Follow on screen to continue using HTC Nexus 9.
